Some big fish were taken out of San Pablo Reservoir this week led by a 17 lb. Catfish

Reservoir Hours: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Boats Must be Off the Water: by 7:00 PM
Last Trout Plant: 1,200 lbs. on August 7th.
Last Catfish Plant: 1,200 lbs. of Catfish on July 31, 2012. Water Temperature: 72 Degrees

Catfish and Bass have been doing really well and Trout are being caught here and there but in deeper water. Crappie and Bluegill are biting on jigs and worms. Catfish have been biting on Chicken Liver and Anchovies the most. Bass seem to be hitting on Sinko's in a Wacky rig or using Spinners and swimbaits.

GENERAL CONDITIONS The south entrance to the reservoir continues to be open for shore fishing only. Just a reminder the marina and boat rentals are closed until mid September. We recommend calling (925) 371-2628 for up to date information. The water level is currently at 58% of the new high water mark. Our water temperature is 70-72 ? on the surface and 66 ? at 40 feet.
