The Marina hours are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The store and the park are now closing one hour earlier. The water temperature is 66 degrees and we are starting to see a lot more trout on angler's hooks. Trout season for Del Valle Lake has officially begun. As the water temperature and water level continues to drop, the trout fishing will be awesome. The largest trout reported this week was 4 lbs. 11 oz. The last trout plant from Mount Lassen was on Oct. 11th (good Oregon trout). The average size was 3-6 lbs. with a few trophy trout thrown in the challenge all you anglers. Fishermen are still catching catfish, large and smallmouth bass and striped bass.

A big thanks to everyone who stopped by the Marina and got their picture taken for this week's fishing report. Don't forget to pick up bait and all your fishing supplies, as well as the latest fishing tips at Lake Del Valle Marina. After the big catch, come by and get on the "wall of fame". Just remember, every Wednesday is half price on a full day boat rental. Come up and try your luck, have some fun and remember - your worst day fishing is always better than your best day working.
