Bass and trout fishing are keeping anglers happy. Trout fishing is best on the McCloud and Sacramento arms. Shad have been showing near the Pit arm and trout are feasting on those. Bass are off main body points and it's not uncommon to catch 50 to 75 per day, although many are small. Use dart-headed worms in water no deeper than 20 feet. (530) 275-4939.
