November Marina hours are 6am to 5 pm with our rental boats due back in by 4pm. With the trout plant this week at a record 3,550 lbs. It has been an amazing turnout with Anglers arriving early and catching their limits. The water temperature is between 56 and 58 degrees. Our trout fishermen have been using a variety of bait Blue Fox #2, Silver Kastmasters seem to be a favorite at the moment. Power Bait Eggs in White and Spring Green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in Fluorescent Green along with Power Bait in Chartreuse, Corn Yellow, Orange Twist and Lemon Twist. Cat fishing is steady with some good size catches being caught with Chicken liver, Anchovies, Sardines, Nightcrawlers and Garlic Powder Marshmallows. Crappie fishing has been doing well also along the Eastside past our boat docks with Power Bait Crappie Nibbles in Chrome-Glow Chartreuse and Chroma-Glow White, large Mouth Bass and Small Mouth bass have had a few pulled out using Shiner Blade dancer Black Shad. There have been some good size Stripers pulled out using Sardines and Anchovies.

Frank Colby of Dublin caught a 2 lb. 12 oz. Trout in the Creek with Power Bait on 11/05/10. George Murphy of San Jose caught a Trout in the mouth of the Narrows using an Orange Daredevil on 11/05/10. Tom Murphy of San Jose caught a Trout in the mouth of the Narrows using a Kastmaster on 11/05/10. Curtis Arney of Buffalo, New York caught a 2 lb. 4 oz. Trout in Swallow Bay using Power Bait Sherbert Glitter 11/05/10. Bruce Bellochio and Curtis Smith of Santa Cruz caught 9 Trout with the weight of the stringer weighing in at 11 lbs. the largest fish weighed 2 lbs. 13 oz. The Trout where caught in the East Beach with power Bait, Kastmasters and a Panther Martin on 11/05/10. Bob Whitlock and Nate Rubin of San Ramon caught 9 Trout with the weight of the stringer weighing in at 14 lbs. 9 oz. The largest fish weighed 3 lbs. 9 oz. The Trout where caught in the Narrows on 11/06/10. John Avanta of San Jose caught 3 Trout with the weight of the stringer weighing in at 4 lbs. 15 oz. The largest fish weighed 2 lbs. 8 oz. The Trout were caught in the Narrows using a Kastmaster on 11/06/10. Kenny Khu of Livermore caught 13 Trout in the Narrows using Night Crawlers and White Power Bait Eggs on 11/10/10. Joseph and Paul Miller of Tracy caught 4 Trout the stringer weighed 3 lbs. All the fish were caught using Green and Yellow Power Bait in the East beach on 11/11/10. Jeff Allen of Santa Cruz cauht 5 Trout with the weights at 6 lbs. 3 lbs. 8 oz., 2 lbs. 5 oz. and a 1 lb. The largest trout weighing in at 6 lbs. Power Bait Eggs where used as bait and all the fish were caught in Heron Bay at the Dam on 11/11/10. Jeff Allan also caught his limit of 5 Trout on 11/09/10 aand 11/10/10. Edward Madrid of Sunnyvale caught a 3 small Mouth Bass using Shad Swim bait. The stringer weighed in at 4 lbs. 15 oz. with the largest fish weighing 2 lbs. 8 oz. All the small Mouth Bass where caught in Ghost Cove at the Dam on 11/07/10. Kenny Khu of Livermore caught a 7 lbs. Striper in Swallow Bay using Sardines on 11/11/10.

As of October 15th, Marina hours are 6:00am to 6:00pm. It seems fellow Anglers Trout fishing has indeed arrived here at the lake from the east end swim beach throughout the narrows on into the dam area have been yielding in great catches.
