Bass fishing is very good for those working the shallows for pre- and post-spawn fish. Bass are found from the bank to 25 feet deep off main body points on all of the arms. Fish slowly with plastic worms, tubes and Senkos. A topwater bite is beginning in the afternoon. Trout are near the surface when the water is calm. Go deeper when it's windy. There's baitfish near Jones Valley. (530) 275-4939.
