Boca Reservoir remains one of the area's most consistent fisheries, with healthy water levels and productive fishing throughout the lake. Trout fishing has been especially good near the dam, where worms, PowerBait, and Rooster Tails continue to produce fish for shore anglers. The kokanee bite is still among the strongest in the region, with schools of 10- to 12-inch fish providing steady action. Anglers trolling wedding rings behind flashers while covering water have been finding the most success. As with most local waters this time of year, the best fishing takes place during the cooler morning and evening hours before recreational boat traffic increases.
