We’ll put that into the good trip category…. The nice weather conditions came back today, we had some VERY good food, and we had some nice size fish. Single digit scores for the majority of the party boat fleet today. We ended up with 9 for our private company charter with 19 people aboard…. Thank you for giving the crew a paid day off and getting this trip together Ken !!
   I’ll say this today - we try very hard to catch as many as possible for our customers every day, and I’m never fully satisfied with our catch until we have limits for all.
   That said… we are in a very difficult and different situation now with the imposition of the “quota” system.
The “less than limits” fishing that we are seeing on & off so far means that we are not eating up our quota here in the SF zone. It appears highly likely that we will have more opportunity through most of - if not all of - August.
   It is also highly likely… I’ll say guaranteed even… that waves of this year’s full grown adult Sac River system Salmon WILL be coming, staging along the coast outside of the Gate, and eventually heading back to the rivers… and it sure looks like we’ll be able to be there to intercept some of them. 😎🐟🎣
