The lake rose to 31 percent of capacity and fishing was fair. Spotted bass took drop shot and finesse baits in 10 to 30 feet of water. A slow presentation worked best. Deeper fish came on vertical spoons, and deep diving crankbaits worked near rocky structure. Crappie fishing was hit or miss. Anglers caught fish on small swimbaits and live minnows after locating schools. Catfish anglers used frozen sardines, anchovies, and dip bait for fair results.
