Calico bass have gone wild at the Channel Islands. We've enjoyed limit-style fishing aboard the WaveWalker on trips to Santa Cruz Island. Calico fishing along the mainland coast is up and down as conditions change, but on many days it is great fishing for this early in the bassing season.

Otherwise... salmon are being caught in limited numbers. Thresher shark are just moving in. White seabass season is getting going. Rockfish and lingcod fishing remains great.
