Lots of rain and wind this week at the lake slowed down the fishing a bit.?? The Reapers Tournament was held here this weekend.?? Large fish for the day was 10.5 lbs.?? Boats entered totalled 148 and over 1,000 lbs of Bass came in.

Salmon are hitting at the 40 to 90 foot depths Apex lures are working great behind a flasher.

Trolling for Trout is very good from 8 to 20 feet depths.?? Use a Needlefish apex or KastMaster flasher seem to work great also.?? You can drift a bobber and minnow also.

Crappie are hitting Jigs near trees or brush areas.

Water temp is at 54 degrees 8 ft. from the surface.

Bass Anglers can throw large swim baits and land some nice size large mouths.?? Michael Wright did this last week and netted a 14.8 lb beauty.?? March 19, 2007 Bass anglers throw plastics, crankbaits, and jigs in 20 feet of water on rocky coves and the bass are hitting.?? The Lucky Craft lure is working great. Trout are on the surface yet.?? Nice warm weather brought them to the surface.?? Troll a Needlefish or Kastmaster silver blue and that will land you your Trout. Salmon hitting the same but at the 40 foot depths.??
