Success Lake held near 15 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair. Bass responded to finesse techniques in 15 to 40 feet of water with darker colors working for bites. Drop shot, Ned rigs, and jigs all saw some action with a slow retrieve. Spoons like blade baits, tail spins, and ice jigs fooled largemouth out deeper. Catfish anglers used Triple S dip bait, chicken liver, and nightcrawlers on the long soak. There were a few reports of rainbows taking dough baits and spinners.
