Kaweah Lake rose to 82 percent of capacity, and fishing has been good. Bass anglers used jigs, Senkos, and drop shot to land fish in 10 to 25 feet of water. Green Pumpkin, Ox Blood, and Real Shad were all great color choices. Deep diving shad colored crankbaits and jerkbaits also got bit. The jerkbaits worked well near submerged brush. Crappie fell for crappie jigs, Shad Sliders, and small live minnows near bushes and rock piles, and catfish ate cut baits, chicken liver, and dip bait.
