Pardon the late posting… straight to the Golden State Salmon Association’s annual fundraising dinner for me after an awesome trip yesterday… made for a long day but - nothing but awesome all day long !!
  Yesterday’s trip on the Salty Lady…
Vast amounts of fun. Definitely not a glum lot on this one. With indications of a shift in the pattern of halibut action we opted NOT to head south & we fished some new areas in the Central Bay. We found some good action on both Halibut and Stripers, and ended up with well over a fish per rod… 14 Halibut and 8 Striped Bass for 16 anglers.
   My well used phrase “I couldn’t do this without you guys” holds a deeper level of meaning for this group. There’s honestly NO WAY that I would be where I am, doing what I do… and these trips would simply not happen… without this amazing group of friends, their support, and an endless & timeless opportunity for this fellowship to continue growing.
Frequent contact with newcomers & with each other is the bright spot of our lives. If you know, you know !! Thank you Louis Staffieri for organizing the trip & getting the boys out… already looking forward to the next one !!!
