The double-digit stripers just keep biting, and anglers reported connecting with jerkbaits, topwater, and bait. Most of the fish have been holding after check gates where bait anglers threw cut sardines, lugworms, and jumbo live minnows for bites. The high low rig with a heavy or flat sinker has been popular with bait anglers. Numerous catfish have also been reported by anglers while soaking chicken liver, dip bait, and cut baits. Bass anglers reported good fishing in the eddies and areas of slower moving water. Texas rigs, shad imitations, and jerkbaits all worked to fool the largemouth.
