The lake fell to 10 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair. Bass anglers reported working for bites near the submerged trees with topwater, deep diving crankbaits, and finesse baits. Another opting has been to work the shorelines with those same baits in the mornings. Some anglers reported boiling fish, and crankbaits, jerkbaits, and topwater worked to fool them. Drops shot and Senkos took bass on main lake points and over structure. Catfish anglers used cut sardines, anchovies, and mackerel for some decent whiskerfish action, and crappie fell for minijigs, small swimbaits, and small live minnows near the marina.
