After a few days of a strong north west blow, we headed south with high hopes of a good bite.  Took us a while to get located, but when we did the fish were snapping.  Consistent action throughout the day with plenty of missed opportunities. Today our 15 anglers landed 14 salmon to 16 pounds. Our fishing grounds are looking very promising for our up coming trips, we are looking forward to what our next trip brings !!!

Another Gorgeous Day

Couldn't have asked for nicer weather today, and the fishing was pretty nice, too.  Queen of Hearts ended the day with 14 salmon for 15 anglers to 16 pounds fishing south of the harbor. Reel Screamer ended up with 3 salmon from 10 to 14 pounds for its four anglers with many more than won their way to freedom. ...... Read More

Quality continues

Even through some pretty serious scattered downpours, the quality bottomfish came over the rail giving everyone onboard their 10 fish limit of rockfish.  Biggest fish was a hefty 6 pound vermillion.  One bonus lingcod was caught, too.  Thankfully the rain is supposed to end tonight before midnight and it looks like another gorgeous day on Friday.  The joy of springtime on the ocean...it can change from one extreme to another day to day. ......
