The Canyon Dam boat ramp was opened for use this morning

Lake Almanor - CA (Plumas County)

The Canyon Dam boat ramp was opened for use this morning. Plumas Pines pulled their dock yesterday so Canyon Dam is the only public ramp available on Almanor. Thanks to the USFS for your efforts, one more step in the healing process of our fishing/boating community.
As in past years the ramp is not a top priority with snow removal and it may take a couple of days after big snow events before it gets plowed.
