The kokanee bite is still good at Stampede Reservoir. Anglers are getting consistent results in front of the boat launch and near the little truckee and sagehen inlets. Anglers can find Kokanee early morning in the 50 to 60 foot water column with pink, chartreuse, or green hoochies and small dick knight spoons, all tipped with shoepeg corn. Anglers fishing for trout are having success using speedy shiners, small rapalas, and crocodile spoons. With the warm temperatures still here, the bass bite is still good as well. Anglers can find bass near any of the rocky points using crawdad patterns and small jigs.

Stampede Reservoir is currently at 38% capacity.
