We are now fishing winter spotted bass on Shasta lake .The fishing is really good with most days limits of 13 to 15 inch fish using plastic worms .Ned rigs and tubes mudd pie seem to be the most consistent tackle .I highly suggest to use light line like 6 pound flora carbon.Fish are biting in the 20 to 40 feet
