Lake Siskiyou continues to fish pretty well. Camping and water fun have somewhat taken over at Lake Siskiyou but don't under estimate the fishing right now.

There are some quality Bass and Trout in this little nugget of a lake. Getting on the water early afternoon activity on the water such as kayaking and swimming shuts the fishing down until the evening.

Trolling dodgers and worms works extremely well for the trout which are now holding a bit deeper and down riggers are a huge help in putting those offerings in there face. The Rainbow bite has been best but the Browns are still around and the early start is when you can find a good one.

Smallmouth Bass are all over and many have been hanging out next to submerged structure. Working that structure slowly is the key the fish spook easy and often spook once you hook one and disturb the area.
