Captain Justin Thompson and Captain Jeff Brady checked in today and both are reporting some pretty good wild rainbow trout fishing on the Sacramento River today.  Not red hot, but still plenty of action and lots of fun for todays group.  Drifting eggs with an artificial fly dropper did the trick and will likely be the go-to set up for the next few weeks.  Captain Brady spent his day back trolling Brads Wigglers for his fish.  These trips are a lot of fun, but remember, the upper 5.5 miles of the Sac River in Redding opens up again August 1st.  That generally kicks off some amazing trout fishing right here in downtown Redding.  Thank you!

Capt. Jeff G.
