Todays first team meeting of the year went well and we spent the first part of the day fishing for rainbow trout.  We fished Brads Wigglers to start the day and switched over to roe/bead presentations on the spin rods.  Captain Kenny hooked a monster steelhead/rainbow above Sundial bridge but lost it after it came up to the surface and spit the hook.  Overall we saw a lackluster bite, but came up with some great ideas and business strategies for the 2020 season during our meeting.  This year, we have some Smith River steelhead trips coming in February and will be scheduling our Striped bass trips on the Sacramento River for April and May.  Shasta Lake trophy brown trout fishing in March/April along with Sac River spring steelhead/trout into May.  July thru the end of the year, we will be offering Sacramento River King salmon trips, Klamath River King salmon trips, Sacramento and Trinity River steelhead trips, and finally Shasta and Whiskeytown Lake trips.  What a great year we have ahead of us!  We're really looking forward to 2020 and can't wait to share all of the amazing fishing opportinuties we have available with our awesome clients.  Tight lines!
