It’s a great time to get up to Clear Lake and take advantage of the winter bite. Lots of good healthy fish to be caught. Caught a handful of fish on plastics. The bigger and more aggressive fish I focused on were deeper. Fished primarily 12-25 depth range with the A-rig. Tips for locating fish is to find bait. When we caught one there was usually quite a few to be caught in that area. Once we found the spots holding fish we would work it from every direction and really pick the spot apart. Ended up with just under 26lbs for best 5 for the day. Biggest was 6.5. Don’t let the cold weather and conditions deter you. It is a great time of year to get out there and have a great day on the water
