The Best Fishing of the Year is Here!

The fall and early winter bring some of the best fly fishing to the Reno Tahoe area every year. Water conditions are in great shape, the fish are very active and there is no one out there! Our Guides are getting clients into some really nice fish both on the surface and below. With no closed season on most local waters the fishing should remain excellent for the next month or so. Call or email the Reno Fly Shop for more details.

It really depends on who you talk to. Our best reports have been coming from the Camp 5 area. Stripping Sheep Creek specials with a type two sinking line has bee for effective. Hanging Blood Midges under an indicator is also worth a try.
