Justin and I fished below Red Bluff today and although we saw light pressure on the water, the fishing was pretty tough.  That being said, we did get into some Kings and our clients got to take home some fresh salmon fillets.  We're fishing hard right now, but hopefully that will change very soon.  We're on the water every day looking forward so we'll know when and where the best salmon fishing will be in the coming days.  Stay tuned, I'll be sure to continue to post daily with accurate reports from our guides on the river.

Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide.  He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes. He fishes many bodies of water in the Redding area, but also guides the Sacramento River and Feather River during certain times of the year. Jeff can also be found on the California coast chasing ocean fresh King salmon and steelhead each year.
