With the weekend coming up, it's time for a quick hot bite report!

While we wait for the widely anticipated river salmon season opener in July, the landlocked salmon in Lake Oroville are biting well.

The weather is still cool, and the fishing is good. We're catching lots of good fish to eat, up to about 4 pounds.

These hard-fighting landlocked salmon are scrappy and delicious.
Scenic Lake Oroville springtime trips are a favorite with families (especially with young ones) and couples too.

If you'd like to get out on the water while the salmon fishing is still good, give us a call at 800-995-5543. Some openings are available, and it's a really fun trip.

Fish On!
