5/21/19 - Catching a few dinner Browns on Lake Siskiyou with outdoor writers Carol Martens and Patrick Young thanks Kory Hayden (Discover Siskiyou and Siskiyou Economic Development) for hooking me up with these great people.

Weather and snow melt has made fishing a little tougher over the last month. Up and down water levels, temperature drops, random weather fronts have all made the fish bites turn on an off just about everywhere. We are starting to see flows level out and weather sort of attempting to head into summer haha.

Fishing Lake Siskiyou, yesterday, the Brown bite was turned back on which was nice. Not red hot but quality fish once we found the right depth. The Lake is in great shape full but now 3 degrees colder than a month ago. The bite at least happened while the sun was up although it was windy cold with occasional showers. The had been turning off once sun hit water, so it is a good sign that the things are stabilizing and the fish are becoming active again.
