Lake level is 100%. Not going over the spill way yet.

Fishing has been good at Mallard Cove, and off of Grasshopper. Seeing nice fish in the 22 inch and up range. Worms, Power Bait, and Nymphs.

Drove up the East side today. All fishing access points up through Mosquito Slough are accessible. Because of the high water, parking is very limited at Mosquito Slough.

Boat ramps at Lightening Tree and Honker Cove are usable; however, the docks are not in. Because of where they pulled the dock to at Lightening Tree it is a bit tight for usable ramp.

West side is not accessible yet up the 24N10 road.

Talked with Forest Service today also, and their goal is to have the campgrounds open by Memorial Day. Call (530) 836-2575 for further updates and information.

They were using worms and power bait. Remember, the ice conditions are not officially monitored and that you go on the ice at your risk! ...... Read More
