The south fork of the Mokelumne River continues to be the most productive river system in the area. Anglers continue to use spinners and jigs on the south fork and the main Mokelumne rivers below the Interstate Five Bridge where they continue to nail Chinooks in the 10 to 35 pound range. Note: This is the only river opened to salmon fishing that sports a two fish daily limit. Information: (209) 369-204
