This weeks full moon made Kokanee fishing difficult. Big fish limits were hard to come by. The Koks moved off structure and are suspended 90 to 115 feet deep over water depths of 300 plus feet. Best areas has been the spillway, and the damn. We found green and firetiger Apex's, Uncle Larry's bloody mary, and green firetiger behind Vance's ball trolls with no dodger caught bigger fish. Pro-Cure fresh water shrimp was our corn scent.

New Melones ReservoirVery good Kokanee action for fish in the 171/2 to 181/2 inch range. Were also seeing a lot of immature koks 6 to 10 inches. The secret is to fish deep, work the structure, and use large lures. The larger fish are suspended 80 to 90 feet deep, between the spillway and the dam.
