Today I fished Shasta Lake, and once again, we found some quality rainbows and browns to keep my crew entertained for most of the day.  Over 20 trout caught up to 5 lbs putting in a full day on the water.  The big moon can shut down the big fish bite, but if you stick with it, they will eventually turn on.  I go to work every day expecting to spend the whole day on the water and sometimes thats what it takes to stick the big boys!  Its so much fun hearing the reels screeming before catching a big fish!  July dates are getting pretty slim, but the trout fishing in August and September is very good too so now is the time to get that Shasta Lake fishing trip scheduled with us!  Tight lines...
