Today I fished Shasta Lake with the Kohler family and boy did we have fun.  The hot first light bite never showed and had me worried for an hour or so, but we found some fish and started working them over.  Plenty of smaller fish and the pesky bass kept us busy, but when the wind died down and the sun warmed the surface, the big fish came on in a big way!  6 lines in the water always tips the scales in your favor, but it also is a lot more work.  I worked hard to find the winning combo today and when I did, lets just say the reels were screaming! Lost a few big, big fish, but still came in with plenty of memories to last a lifetime!
