The trout and bass fishing remain solid at this popular impoundment
located near Clements, Ca. The largemouth and spotted bass are
holding in close to  the shorelines. Several anglers reporting
hooking and landing as many as 50 fish per outing. The best lures are
purple Robo worms. The water temperature is between 61 and 65 degrees.

The lakes Bluegill population has woken up, as many anglers were scoring some of the big bulls this past week. Nightcrawlers drop shotted, or under a slip bobber was the key to success. Rocky areas of the Toll Road Arm and Barona Arm produced the best numbers. The bass bite has been very good, with fish in all stages of the spawn being caught, all over the lake.
