Kokanee fishing is Excellent. The extra large Koks are starting to turn on. We are seeing limits of 2lb fish. Warren Cooper of Elk Grove boated a giant a 2.5lbs 18 3/4 inch Kokanee, and caught four more over 2lbs. We have been working structure on the south side of the dam, 70 to 80 feet deep.Vance's nickel green, or all nickel dodger, teamed up with a green Apex, or Uncle Larry's Mad Irish man is working well. We are using Pro-Cure Freshwater shrimp for our corn sent.

Kokanee fishing is very good. The 14 to 16inch fish can be found 50 to 60 feet deep. Good areas to try is Middle Bay on the east side of Jenkins Hill, Grave Yard, and Copper Mountain. The Kokes are falling for numerous lures, Uncle Larry;s pink spinner, silver Apex, small Ex-Cells, pink hoochies, and Sockeye Slammers.
