Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone has a safe holiday this year and prepares for another great year of fishing. Remember to stop by the marina store to pick up your brand-new fishing license for 2018. Fishing has been great this week with many anglers limiting out on trout.

For trout, most anglers this week are using either power bait or night crawlers. I also recommend using either mice tails, kastmasters, or small spinners. Make sure your fishing sand bars in shallow water.

Catfish are doing good this week most anglers are fishing rock walls and deep drop offs. Best baits to use would be either night crawlers, anchovies or mackerel.

Featured Anglers of the Week for 12/25/17-12/31/17

Jacob Jordan and Brianna Sifton of Boulder Creek caught 5 trout the largest weighed 2.5 LBS

Phabian Warren of Livermore caught 1 trout that weighed 8 LBS

Kelly Barrington and friend caught 10 trout the largest weighed 4 LBS
