The Sacramento River salmon fishing has been hot and cold this fall, but over all its been surprisingly good.  Big winds have been a factor for me since I like to drift Pautzke cured roe, but some days are just better than others in the fishing world anyway.  I'm going to begin to focus on my rainbow trout and steelhead fishing on the Sacramento River in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned for some of those reports ahead.  Tight lines!
