The Sacramento River from Hamilton City to Red Bluff has been holding an exceptional run of 2 yr old Kings so far this year.  We are also seeing some bigger 3 yr olds, but not quite as many just yet.  Overall salmon fishing is producing daily and some limits are beeing seen as well.  Time will tell, but it would appear our upper Sac salmon season will be better than last year, and with all the 2 yr old salmon, next year should be great!

Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide.  He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes.
