Crappie/Bluegill:

Crappie bite has been steady, with bluegill getting in on the bite as well using crappie jigs, live minnows, and redworms. Fishing Tuttletown recreation area on shore, look for underwater trees to produce some fish hiding in the cover.

Catfish:

The bank fishermen are bringing in catfish by baiting their hooks with large crawlers, chicken livers, and anchovies. Set your rig up using a 2/0 kahle hook, 2-5ft.leader, splitshot pinched to your line, and a sliding sinker.

Kokanee:

The Kokanee are coming in slow this year, still waiting on the bite to come into full swing but when one is landed they are nice size. Between the dam and spillway are the best recommendations. Send your presentation down 40 ft. try a dodger in orange/copper, orange watermelon, orange uv flash. Add a orange/pink hoochie, and tip it with scented kokanee corn.

Well it's true the water is still coming up, the launch ramps are available with plenty of parking. Other than some windy days the past week, fishing is on point. Be careful of the floating debris floating from the high water levels. TROUT Trolling for trout has been producing limits of rainbow fishing Angels Creek down 20 ft. using Blue/Chrome Kastmaster, and Watermelon colored Dodger scented with Bloody Tuna. Trolling by the spillway, limits were being brought in using speedy shiner in nickle/blue tipped with crawler.
