Head ranger Scot Lang provided the Loch Lomond report this week. With the high winds, attendance at the lake as been low and full stringers of trout have been scarce, according to Lang. He adds that bass fishing is going well with bass averaging over five pounds, and including an eight-pounder caught right behind the bait shop this weekend by an angler using an eight-inch rainbow trout lure. Lang says a variety of lures will work for the big bass, including rubber worms, Senkos and chartreuse spinnerbaits.
