GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sunny, partly cloudy and cold, with lots fish biting reported. Hot spots are typically the steep bank located next to the park entrance, and the fishing dock.

CATFISH

10 Catfish were caught off of the East and West banks using chicken liver as bait. Each measured between 11”-20”. Successful lures are bright green with garlic dip for scent, and Power Bait has also been working.

TROUT

14 trout were caught off of both the East and West banks using Power Bait. Each trout measured 10-17”.

Water temperature has dropped to 58-60 degrees depending on the sun that day. Mt Lassen planted 750 lbs of trout on Monday at the public launch ramp. Trout have been slamming on shore from the East beach to West beach. Power Bait and other Berkeley products are the go to bait for fishermen.
