Reminder to boaters: All watercrafts (including float tubes) need to have a wearable Coast Guard approved personal floatation device (PFD) per person. Children age 12 and under must wear personal floatation device (PFD) while the vessel is underway.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Fishing is picking up!

CATFISH

Some bites reported from boats and Loma Island. Success reported with lures, chicken liver and shrimp.

TROUT

Trout fishing has picked up near the boat ramp area and Channel Point with bright colored power baits.

BASS

Black Bass have been biting with artificial lures, baits, and night crawlers anywhere around the lake.

CRAPPIE/BLUEGILL

Pan fish have been biting with jigs or worms at the Channel Point area.
