Salmon fishing on the upper Klamath River has been improving steadily over the past 10 days, going from single digit hook ups to double digit hook ups. It will not be long before we start having 20 to 30 plus hook up trips. The Salmon are in excellent shape we are landing some sweet BBQ worthy fish!! Right now the fish size has been in the 12 to 18 pound range, with a few fish nearing 20 pounds. Roe has been the main method for landing the Salmon and we have been picking up few up on Kwikfish but that will improve as the fish stack up. Weather has been outstanding with cool mornings and warm to hot afternoons. I have a few open dates so check my Calendar page to see if they work for you. I can be reached at 530 905 0758.

** I am now taking bookings for the Winter Steelhead season on the Upper Klamath (November thru February) should be an outstanding year with all the Salmon coming up, the Steelies will be right on their heels!!**
