It was wet it was windy and it was cold but that didnt stop the Steely Trout bite from being hot. I fished the Blanchards on Saturday despite the poor weather and they caught over 20 fish with one in the 3 pound 20 inch class. Most of the fish were in the 1/2 to 2 pound range. We caught all the fish while back trolling a hotshot worm combo. The Salman are spawing throughout the river and the Steelies are feeding like crazy, so now is the time to get in on the action.
