Grace, Nora and Lake McCumber were planted by CDFW on 04-12-16 with trout from the Darrah Springs Hatchery. These fish, as in the past are 10”-12” triploid rainbows. CDFW will have more plantings schedule in prior to the opening of the general trout opener Saturday, April 30 and will continue throughout the summer.

Fishing pressure is very light preceding now the PG&E impoundments near Shingletown, Shasta County prior to the general opener.
