Thursday, March 17. Fished with two great casters today but their skill did not provide much in the way of rewards. We fished a very weak incoming and then outgoing tide. Almost no water movement. Water clarity was as much as five feet, water temperature 59, but even with those conditions and a bluebird day, we ended with only five fish and they were small. We spent all of our time on the San Joaquin above the Moke and worked our way to the interior, even reaching south of MIldred. All was for naught though, the fish just didn't respond. Maybe next week when we have a great outgoing.
