The Lower Sacramento River fished better today down lower than the upper sections. Anglers saw good numbers of hook ups. But the quality was better than the quantity. The river remains turbid up to Keswick but fishable. Tomorrow look for changing conditions and eventual clearing as the river is scheduled to be raised to 20,000CFS around 2AM. Anglers and boaters are advised to stay away from the river for at least 12 hours as lots of debris and vegetation will be cut loose. Look for improving conditions as the river and fish adjust to the change in the coming weeks. Here comes spring fishing!
