Fishing is great at Don Castro, with lots of fishermen this month, but plenty of fish to go around.

The San Lorenzo Creek has been a little murky due to the recent heavy rains, but once the water settles, no doubt the rainbow trout will start biting again.

The water is still muddy trout fishing has been slow.  Black Bass is picking up, biting with artificial baits/lures and on nightcrawlers everywhere on the lake.  Look for catfish at Channel Point, Loma Island or from a boat with nightcrawlers or chicken liver.
