Water temp is at 54 degrees.?? the LAKE IS TURNING and good fishing is here.
Troll a needle fish or apex from surface to 20 foot depths and some nice trout??& possible salmon are hitting.?? The narrows or skiers cove shoreline are the hot spots.
Bass are hitting on plastics or crank baits in shallow coves.?? The Big Island area is producing some nice bass.
We are expecting 3 to 4 inches of rain this week so the water may get a little stirred up.?? By?? the weekend fishing should be great!

Lake BerryessaA lot of North winds and some much needed rain came in this week slowing the good fishing.?? Water temperature is at 58 degrees. You can troll for trout or salmon, use a flasher and a needlefish with lots of color.?? The water is murky and a little tough on getting your limit. Lake BerryessaWater temp is at 60 degrees but the lake has not turned! Bass anglers used plastics this week and did well.?? Shallow rocky points around the north end of the lake were the hot spots. Trout and salmon are hitting in the narrows or skiers cove shoreline.?? Run a flasher with a kastmaster or needlefish.?? Trout are not very deep; 10 to 40 feet should do it.??
