The lake is open to boating. Still a bunch of grass along the shoreline as well, and the water clarity depends on the amount of party boaters or wakeboarders on the lake. When there is high traffic on the water throw a darker-colored Texas Rig with any creature bait and work the grass edges and pockets. When the water is clearer switch over to more natural green pumpkin and watermelon colored soft plastics. Few crappie are still being caught next to the boat launch on both sides, just have to be there at the right time and place.
