Big cats and bass are the story this week. Most catfish were reeled in off the south shore Willows Campground and day use areas using anchovies and chicken liver. Lake Camanche's current elevation is 173.05 as of 08/10/15. Water temperature at the launch ramp is approximately 78 degrees. Inflow from Lake Pardee is temporarily at 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 245 c.s.f. The flow into Camanche varies from 11 cfs to 800 cfs. as EBMUD generates electricity from Pardee's flow. At this time they turn on two of the three generating units periodically during the week.
